Here at Harveys we love giving back to our community, so when it comes to the cancer society’s annual daffodil day we LOVE being able to jump on board!
As many of you know, we run “That Harveys Coffee Van” which we take along to all sorts of community events, with all profits going back to a cause of the events choosing.
The Cancer Society is one of those causes that is close to our hearts, as there are so many New Zealanders effected or care about someone effected by cancer.
We have received an over whelming amount of support from the community in raising money for the cancer society this year and want to say a massive thank you to everyone of you for your donations.
There are a couple of people we couldn’t do it with out so a big shout out to Streffan & Jess Drysdale from Redline Coffee for your continual support and sponsorship of all the coffee, cups & lids, what awesome people to have backing us!
And Anchor Manawatu for their sponsorship with all of the milk for the day.
With the sponsorship from these amazing local businesses we were able to give 100% of the proceeds back, meaning every cent from every cup of coffee got gifted to the cancer society.
With everyone’s help we managed to raise just over $900 in 4 hours, what an incredibly generous community we live in, we couldn’t be any more Palmy Proud!
